Here at Pathway Properties, our focus is simple. We find and purchase great houses in and around Dayton and Cincinnati, and offer them to people in Cincinnati and Dayton (or anywhere, really, the important bit is that they want to buy a home in these areas) without bank financing to help more people become homeowners when otherwise they couldn’t.
Our Important Role In Our Local Real Estate Market
In this crazy economy, we help stabilize neighborhoods all around Cincinnati and Dayton by matching up quality homes with the people who will want them and then care for them as their own – including those who don’t necessarily qualify for a loan from banks.
We’ve been in the real estate business around here for nearly two decades in some form or another, and over those many years, we’ve seen a LOT of houses, we’ve bought and sold a lot of houses, and we’ve had a first-row seat to witnessing all kinds of lender hiccups, delays, and unfair rejections.
We became quite frustrated by the sheer number of folks who want to buy, but can’t qualify for loans from banks, or who may initially qualify, but then something about their circumstance changes during the closing timeline (between signing the purchase agreement for the home, and getting to the actual closing of that purchase, typically a window of about 30-45 days), and the lender backs out of the deal as a result. It didn’t seem fair at all to us that hard-working folks who earn more than enough income to pay for and own their own home were being denied the opportunity to become Homeowners by the big lenders. From our perspective, there were dozens of great homes just sitting vacant! Sellers wanted to sell, and buyers wanted to buy… but no banks were helping!
That’s really the driving force behind why we took action, and decided to further branch out our real estate business by starting Pathway Properties.
